Hello,

Thank you so much for your kind and supportive words, donations, offers for meals, and more. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful support system. 

This is a scary time, but I remain hopeful and positive as much as possible. Fear does sneak in from time to time, but that is to be expected. 

The next step is the unilateral mastectomy. Tomorrow I will also have a biopsy of the sentinel lymph node to see if the cancer has spread there. I am hoping and praying that this is not the case.

I expect the surgery to take at least a couple of hours. I should be able to update everyone by tomorrow afternoon on how the surgery went. If you do not hear from me directly, you will hear from my extraordinary partner who will use this page for updates. 

As I find out more about further testing, I will share that information. 

Thank you again for your support. I feel loved and supported and that is definitely carrying me through this unlucky moment.
