Hello! Thank ms to everyone for the support, well wishes, and encouragement during this difficult period.
I will likely be going back to the hospital tomorrow just to have them look at my drain and make sure it’s working properly.
The surgeon did a fabulous job but it seems a little swollen and it isn’t draining much fluid so I just need to make sure it isn’t getting infected.
Other than that. I’m very happy with how it looks and feels so far. The pain is tolerable. I still need to wait for the results of the biopsied lymph node.
Fingers crossed!
Other than all of that, I feel pretty good so far! I’m eating and drinking well, able to ambulate, but need to remember not to lift my right arm or use it for much of anything for awhile.
My partner is helping me every step of the way, and I’m so grateful for him. And there have been many people reaching out to help with meals and support, for which I am extremely grateful.
