Important Reminder: Check Your Family for Ticks

Early this morning, we noticed that Kinsley was not acting like herself and had trouble sleeping. We soon found a black legged tick on her and quickly contacted her oncologist. The doctor gave us a prescription for a special medicine that she needed to take right away.

Unfortunately, our local pharmacies didn't have the pediatric liquid form of the medicine. Thankfully, with a suggestion from Grandma and some luck, we found a pharmacy in Wisconsin that had what Kinsley needed. She was able to take her medicine tonight, and the tick will be sent to a lab tomorrow for tests.

Please make sure to check your littles and bigs for ticks. Give everyone an extra hug tonight. We are grateful for your prayers and positive thoughts as we wait for more information.
