This past week hit Kinsley hard, and swimming has been one of the only things that has kept her body moving!

Last Monday, Kinsley went in for two different chemo injections and both were increased. We saw her body being pushed to the limit these 8 days after, as she experienced the most side effects we have seen since her hospitalization.

- 100+ temp
- jaw pain
- vomiting
- lethargy
- irritability
- increased neuropathy
- decreased appetite
- & very poor sleep

Thankfully, we have been able to manage these symptoms at home with the on-call docs and team a short call or message away. Kinsley continued to power through at physical therapy and find the strength to keep jumping and swimming in the pool. She made it to daycare/school one day last week to see her friends, which always puts a huge smile on her face. 

Kinsley goes back for labs and a new, more intense phase of her Leukemia treatment next week. Until then, we plan to enjoy each day as it arises, make more splashes in the pool, and pray for health and healing for all during this new week!
