Kinsley McLamore
Kinsley has started off childhood cancer awareness month with a bang!
Early Wednesday morning, Kinsley developed a fever and other symptoms that led her to the emergency department at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Her neutrophils were 0 (anything below 500 is neutropenic), bilirubin was off the charts, and other blood counts were low.
Today, Kinsley was in better spirits, but most of her labs did not improve. Her oral chemo has been stopped for the time being, and she received a blood transfusion this afternoon. She remains on antibiotics and has been indulging in hot cocoa.
Please keep Kinsley in your prayers and those positive vibes coming.
