Kim Lurvey and the Lurvey Family
Kim has been in treatment for metastatic breast cancer since December 2024 with no breaks!
Treatment option #1 was re-evaluated in June with mixed results, so we moved on from oral meds and injections to a moderate chemotherapy.
Treatment option #2 has proven beneficial to bone, but cancer in the liver is progressing.
So, today Kim and her doctor decided to move on to Treatment #3--a strong chemo that should really help the liver. That said, it comes with more difficulty to the body, which has been persevering ever since December with no breaks!
Please pray that Kim can manage the expected nausea and fatigue to achieve the desired benefit! Treatment #3 will be administered next week, the 23rd, and again on the 30th, with a week off before beginning another cycle.
We are always grateful for the resources God has given us and trust in His care.
