We wanted to send out a message to touch base with everybody. We are deeply blessed and greatly appreciate all the lovely messages and support we have received from you all. After a week at Evanston Hospital, Kim is now situated at a hospice facility meant to maintain comfort as she has decided to end her treatment after a year of fighting hard. We understand that many of you love Kim and would like to visit. Pease be aware at this time that her condition is such that she will likely be sleeping and can not talk besides a few words at a time. Expect at the very most that she might acknowledge your presence.

In order to not overwhelm Kim and ourselves, here is a sign-up sheet to pick out a time. If the time you pick ends up not working for us then we will reach out and find a time to rechedule.

Kent -

I tried to fill in the spreadsheet, but it isn’t working for me. I would like a spot on Saturday afternoon the 24th. I’d also like your cell phone number if you don’t mind.

Best,
Renae

This is Kimmy's cousin Mike Kavanaugh. We are so saddened and heartbroken to hear this. I wish there was something we could do to support the family - if there is, please let us know. We are thinking of her and her family.

I am so very sorry to hear about Kim's passing. What a terrible loss for the family and for all of us. May God receive her in His loving care, and comfort all of those grieving. I'll look for service information in the coming days. Peace to all.
