Treatment is underway

This week was a big milestone for our family as Kesley officially started treatment.

Her doctors have a clear treatment plan in place and we're grateful to be moving forward. Kesley completed her first chemotherapy treatment on Wednesday, and we're starting to learn what our new weekly routine will look like.

The months ahead will include six months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery, and radiation. It's a long road, but her medical team is treating this aggressively with the goal of getting her healthy and putting this behind us.

We created this page to keep everyone who cares about Kesley and our family up to date, and to make it easy for the many people who have asked how they can help. We'll post updates here along the way as we reach milestones and have news to share.

For now, one of the biggest practical helps is simply taking an occasional dinner off our plate. We've added some meal opportunities here and will add other needs as we figure out our rhythm.

Most of all, thank you. We've felt an incredible amount of love from our family, friends, neighbors and community. Knowing how many people are rooting for Kesley means a great deal to all of us.
