Update: Hospital Visit Today

Hello family and friends. I want to share an update on Kendal.

We had a difficult change yesterday. As she was heading to bed, Kendal had much more trouble than usual getting upstairs. This morning, she had little appetite and felt very fatigued. She chose to stay in bed instead of following her recent routine.

Based on these changes, her medical team postponed today’s radiation treatment and asked us to come to the Emergency Room at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is now going through testing, including a chest X-ray, CT scan, and MRI, to understand what caused this sudden change over the past day.

We expect to remain here through at least tonight while the doctors continue their evaluation.

Thank you for the steady support you continue to show Kendal. She feels it, and it brings her comfort.
