Support Registry Update

End of Short First Week of Treatment

In support of
Kendal Barbee
View Support Registry
We have now finished the first two days of radiation and chemotherapy treatment. Kendal’s current treatment schedule runs from March 12 through April 22. After that, she will have a four week break before starting a maintenance chemotherapy plan, which is expected to continue for either six or twelve months.

At this point, Kendal is feeling about the same as she has for the past month. Since treatment is still new, and she has only had one day of chemotherapy so far, we are hopeful her symptoms will remain minimal.

We are grateful for the care, encouragement, prayers, and support so many of you have shown. Thank you for continuing to walk with us through this.

PS - Haven't named the emotional support sloth yet.. will have to think about that a bit and get back with you all on that.

The Monday - Friday radiation treatments are at The Roberts Proton Therapy Center at the Perelman Center at Penn. The chemotherapy is not IV, just pills to take two hours before each radiation session. (Lots of alarms, lots of planning as the timing differs from day to day.)
