Kelsey Phillips
Kelsey is progressing well in recovery. She was able to stand up 4 hours into recovery and is achieving all of her prescribed milestones.
There is expected torso discomfort and pain with the chest drainage tube. She is required to perform regular breathing exercises, which are not enjoyable. She had some more savory broth and sweet slushy “food”.
She has special evening pain and relaxation medicine to help her get longer periods of rest. She had a short bout of nausea and vomiting (totally normal) but she recovered quickly and immediately received anti-nausea meds. The nurse checks on her every hour and is sitting right outside the door while the room is cool and dark.
The medical staff and facilities have been excellent!

Thanks for your prayers and keep them coming for full recovery. God is good! Come, LORD Jesus and bring your continued healing!
