Hi, friends.

Dan here with an update on Keilani's latest surgery. On Thursday, she underwent a long-awaited major procedure to repair prolapsed organs in her pelvic floor. And yes, it was every bit as uncomfortable as it sounds.

According to her primary surgeon, Dr. Kelso, everything went well, aside from a few complications. And Kei should see a significant improvement in her quality of life once she's healed up. But the recovery is gonna be long — likely two to three months, with the next couple of weeks being particularly rough.

The buildup to this surgery over the last several months was especially taxing — physically, emotionally and financially. Unfortunately, bills and other expenses don't take a hiatus when you go under the knife. (Even when said knife is wielded by a super-cool Da Vinci surgical robot.)

We're hopeful Keilani will be discharged no later than Sunday, July 26, and welcome anything folks can do to help in the days that follow, whether contributing financially if they're able, signing up for a spot on the meal train or simply sending along kind words and healing vibes. It's all appreciated.

Thanks as always for everyone's generous love and support. It means the world to us.

Love,
Keilani & Dan (and Mookie)
