I had my pre-op consultation and biopsy last Friday. We are moving right along in getting ready for surgery July 10. All of my pathology came back negative, so despite the large fibroids, we at least don't have to worry about oncology/cancer at this time. My OB/GYN is absolutely epic and truly gets me. It's been since Los Angeles that I have found one who isn't focused on my worth as a baby-maker, but cares about my quality of life and enjoyment.
We've found a place for Amanda to be Jul 9-10, and I feel ready. Right now it's believed we can stay laparoscopic but may need to do a small (2-3") C-section. We are trying to hope for the best and plan for anything that might crop up.
I have a beloved anamcara bringing me some food just after, but any meal or grocery support for the weeks following would be lovely. I have a list of groceries, recipes (for locals), and local restaurants that can deliver to us. Check the tab names on the spreadsheet here to learn more about how to support us:
