We think they found a liver! If everything works out the way it is supposed to, David will go into surgery this afternoon to have the transplant.
Please keep the Niña, Kathy and the entire family in your prayers that the surgery is successful, and that God will guide the surgeons to have steady hands, and that this liver will be the miracle we've been praying for ...and that David can come home to his beautiful wife and daughter and life can sort of get back to normal after his road to recovery.
And on a side note, please keep the donor family in your prayers, as I am sure they are grieving their loved one at this time. (And a deep, heartfelt thank you to the donor and their family, for such an ultimate sacrifice and gift!)
