We are going home today!! 

We finally got the green light to go home about an hour or so ago! There was some miscommunication about who was responsible for making that decision (her surgeon vs the PICU docs) but we finally got down to the bottom of it and we are packing up to head home. I was a little worried they’d want to keep Joy overnight again for observation since she threw up her feed at noon again today but they’re chalking that up to her being on the narcotics and antibiotics, and are confident it should stop once we’re home. 

Little Miss was granted a little bit of freedom with her hands overnight and in true Joy fashion, promptly pulled out her nasal stent. I’ll need to stop by the Craniofacial clinic on our way out to get one put back in. Of course she wouldn’t make this easy 😅
