Yesterday was Josh’s sixth round of chemo and immunotherapy. While they were at Emory, there was a lull in between treatments, so naturally Brittany and Josh jumped on a scooter and went out for Mexican. Forgive us for not providing more consistent updates—he’s been doing so well and moving in so many different directions that it’s been hard to know what to write!
The last month has been full. Josh has played countless rounds of golf, including a round at Pebble Beach last week where he shot a 94. In late May, we celebrated his 34th birthday with a surprise hibachi dinner and a brewery party featuring a Shai Limbo Stick and, naturally, a tambourine.
The garden is exploding, bringing with it endless blueberries and zucchinis approximately the size of Avery. Last week, Josh, Brittany and the kids, Ilana, Ben and Bri, Karin, Naama, Andy, and Neill all traveled to Malibu, where they spent a few wonderful days at the beach enjoying Naama’s family’s beautiful home, full gardens and incredible hospitality.
After Malibu, Brittany and Josh headed north to Santa Barbara, Carmel and Petaluma for their friends Steven and Michelle’s wedding. Along the way, they celebrated Brittany’s 35th birthday.
June 18th marks Josh’s first scan. As we approach this important milestone, please continue sending warm, loving, healing prayers & energy his way as we move past this first hurdle.
