Good news to share!

Josh had his first major set of scans since starting chemo and immunotherapy in late March, and the results showed that the treatment is working! The tumor in his esophagus is smaller, the lesions in his liver have shrunk, and several affected lymph nodes have decreased in size as well.

We know this isn’t the end of the story, and we know there will be ups and downs ahead. But after a lot of appointments, side effects, waiting and worrying, it feels good to have some objective evidence that all of this is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

We’re incredibly grateful for Josh’s medical team and for everyone who has checked in, sent a text, dropped off a meal, donated, or simply kept us in their thoughts.

This week feels like a huge win and a step in the right direction!
