D-Day.

If the ATG I have been taking the last three days was the French resistance hunting and destroying T-Cells. This afternoon the Airborne landed behind the lines. Better know as Fludarabine a Chemo taken via IV. It stops cells from making and repairing DNA, which causes cells to die. This was then quickly followed by the beach assault curtesy of Cytoxan a second Chemo that functions as an alkylating agent. It specializes in damaging cell DNA to stop rapidly dividing cells from multiplying. These two much harder hitting treatments go deep after the bone marrow and it's reproduction to help wipe it out and laying the foundation for transplant.

I will be on the Fludarabine for 5 days and the Cytoxan for 2 not including the pre-meds being provided to reduce the side effects of these working in my body. For example Hair loss, Nausea and vomiting, Low white blood cell counts, Increased risk of infections, and Loss of appetite.

I am going to get more tired and weak as the days go on but I will continue to try to post.

Thank you for all the prayer and financial support it all goes a long ways in helping get through this.

Jason
