So I'm losing my hair, all of it, eyebrows and eyelashes too. With Chemo 1, I was told it was likely I would lose my hair, but Chemo 2 (coming next week), the certainty of losing all your hair goes to 100%.

I've never been vain about my hair so it has not been emotionally complicated. I'm OK with losing my hair, its a fair price to pay for good health. That doesn't make it any less weird because:

1. I'm not a wig person
2. I'm not a hat person
3. My skull is not cute (kind of minecraft shaped) ;-)

Justyna and Kim visited me last weekend and since the hair is now coming out in clumps, I decided it was time for a chop and shave. Justyna, clipped it all away and it doesn't look too bad. It will still be a few weeks until I'm really bald but so far, I am enjoying the ease of care and the feel of wind on my skull.

What do you think I should do for the next few months?

a. Bold, Bald, & Beautiful
b. Get a Fancy Wig
c. Become a Turban/Head Wrap Goddess
d. Bucket Hat
e. Knit/Crochet fake hair and beard
f. All of the above

You need an E. Other I think you would look fetching in a Greek sailors cap! Or get one of those drinking hats with straws on each side. Form and function.

I say "all of the above." Find wraps that go with your favorite outfits. Craft yarn hair in an interesting style. Same for a wig. Get a ribbon bow like they have for newborns, and a fake tattoo then you will be ready for all occasions. 😍
