Hello Everyone,
It's Jackie. I've been added as an organizer here, but I'm told the system doesn't have the capability to show individual email addresses. So here we are.

I just wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly grateful I am for all your support. I'm REALLY not good at accepting help, and I'm trying to remind myself that sometimes we need it.  I'm incredibly thankful for my best friend/"sister from another mister"/ride or die, Jasmine, who forced this information out there. 

This diagnosis wasn't exactly how I had wanted to start the year. Fortunately it was caught early and I'm going to get through this. Right now, I've had the lumpectomy. The tumor is out. That feels great. I'm waiting on more tests to see what the next steps in treatment are. It may be chemo, it may be not. For sure radiation. I'm learning way more than I've wanted about this.

Bottom line, the roller coaster continues. Thank you all so much for the donations, kind words, meals, smiles, and otherwise that are making this ride a little smoother.
