Jazmyne's Promise
Looks like we are going to be fighting fevers today…Jazmyne has spiking fevers back to 103.1.
No need to panic. No need to doubt that prayers work.
Those moments of fear and uncertainty are exactly what the enemy tries to use to plant seeds of doubt in our hearts. But we stand firm knowing that God’s promises are true and His Word never returns void.
Jazmyne’s healing has already been completed in Heaven… we are simply walking it out here on Earth. The way we choose to walk through this season matters. Our attitude, our words, our faith. They can either create an environment of blessing or one that hinders what God is doing.
2 Corinthians 5:7 states
“For we walk by faith not by sight”
The Hebrew meaning of the word Fatih is Emunah.
Emunah is most often translated into English as "faith" or "belief," but its meaning is closer to the word "trust.”
In the story of Abraham's encounter with God, the verse says, "and he [Abraham] put his trust in Adonai (Lord)” (Genesis 15:6).
We need to walk in faith like Abraham did as he climbed Mount Moriah with Isaac .. fully believing that God would provide.
Now, to be clear, Jazmyne is not a sacrifice like Isaac was in the Old Testament. That was under the old covenant, before Jesus gave His life for us. I’m not referring to Abraham’s act of sacrifice, but to his unshakable faith — the kind that trusted God even when he couldn’t see the outcome.
That’s the kind of faith we’re called to walk in today. A faith that says, “God, I don’t understand it all, but I know You will provide.”
Growing up in church we used to sing a song that to this day I still sing to myself whenever doubt is knocking …
Whose report will you believe
(We shall believe the report of the Lord)
His report says I am healed
His report says I am filled
His report says I am free
His report says victory
So today, we choose faith over fear, peace over panic, and trust over doubt. God is already working His glory.
