Yalllllll!! I had my follow up PET scan on the 5th and to say my results were good is an understatement. My body is responding to treatment so incredibly well. As far as the pictures go, the before scan is on the right and the after is on the left. All of the bright yellow In my neck/chest were cancerous spots and as you can see on the left imaging, there is hardly any yellow! My oncologist is thrilled with how things are going and is extremely optimistic that this whole ordeal will be over and done with before I know it. With that being said I will have one more chemo after today making a total of 8 rounds! I meet with my radiation oncologist on the 12th to get a game plan of how my radiation treatment will go (how many/how often etc). I’ve been feeling a mix of emotions these last few days leading up to my follow up PET scan but I am so relieved today hearing and seeing with my own eyes that this stuff is working and I am being healed by Gods grace and an awesome medical team. Thank you everyone who has continued to reach out, pray for me and think of me. I will continue to try to keep everyone updated as best as I can! I love you guys! Fuck cancer 😘🤞🏼✨💛
