Our fundraising goal: $26,985 — here’s why

Our goal is set at $26,985 so that Haelwyn and her family receive £20,000 in British pounds after exchange.

This fundraiser is happening in the U.S., but Haelwyn, Luke, and Magnolia are in the UK—so setting the goal this way ensures the support translates into what they actually need on their end.

But more importantly, this number is tied to something very real.

Haelwyn is undergoing ongoing, aggressive chemo treatment in London and is unable to work. 
Luke is the sole financial provider, and as a pilot, he is regularly away overnight for work.

At the same time, they are caring for their baby girl.

Right now, what Haelwyn’s body needs most is rest, recovery, and the ability to continue treatment.
