Well today has been a whirlwind. Satan tried to stop us today… with guess what…. The insurance again! But I won’t give by up. And we are eternally thankful to Richard Rodgers for helping us more than you’ll ever understand. Insurance just sucks. I’m praying I will be all sorted out.. REAL QUICK!

We met with Dr. Aldoss and he explained lots to us. He spent time answering our questions. It’s all overwhelming.

Greg’s leukemia did not respond to the chemo like they would have liked to see. It did go from 95 to 17% but they would like it under 5%. Dr Aldoss doesn’t think more chemo will be most beneficial to getting Greg in remission quicker. He believes moving over to Immunotherapy will be the best treatment plan. A bone marrow transplant will be in Greg’s near future so the search for a match will begin at some point. So that’s the plan in a nutshell. Unfortunately the only way to know how the cancer is responding and it’s progression is the through another bone marrow biospy. So he will have another one on Friday along with some low dose out patient chemo. We need the bone marrow report to show less than 50% in order for the Immunotherapy to start on Tuesday.

Update: as of 5 pm the HMO was showing inactivate so pray that’s what City of Hope sees.
