Summer Trip!

Happy 4th of July!!! We are just coming back from our first camping trip with Grasley! I was really nervous about this trip to the Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon! My parents and my sister and her family came with us for a 3 night adventure! Grasley did wonderful! She loves being outside and running around with her cousins. We swam and hiked (Grasley in her backpack on OBs back) and of course cooked on an open fire. I was really amazed with how well she did and kept up with her big cousins. I was also amazed at sequoia national park with all its accessibility amenities. They had whole parking lots just for handicap parking and allowed us to drive up where only the buses go so we could keep Grasley in the car. We also were able to use Grasley’s national park pass for discounted camping and free entry to the national parks! It was an incredible experience for very little money and a very much needed break before all the therapy we have booked! Grasleys intensive is 3 months away and we are getting closer and closer to our financial goals! We cannot wait to do this again soon after all the therapies and appointments!
