George is on the move

We met with Dr. Weber, George’s cardio thoracic surgeon (and namesake of his LVAD) yesterday. He’s been waiting 2 1/2 months for this appointment. Other than some lingering issues with his incision, she gave him the “all clear!”  Cleared to - raise his arms above his head, lift more than a gal of milk, take a shower (no more baths, hot tubs, or swimming, tho) and most importantly - cleared to drive! All steps closer to independence! We couldn’t have done it without all your love and support. Thank you!!!
