My sincere thanks to my Heavenly Father, the men's ministry at church, and all my friends who contributed through this site. I never in my life dreamed that I would be a homeowner, there were some amazing moments that happened during this transition. By themselves, those miracles were amazing to watch and receive, HOWEVER, when you see the timing behind them and how they all interlinked for the outcome, it is even more amazing. A brief history of why this happened. I moved to a new, completely refurbished mobile home in the same trailer park. The old home had broken floors with holes in the floors and where the floor meets the walls. my foot had gone through the floor at one point, and the place was overrun with pests. Being on SSI Disability, there is no money for those types of repairs. I was a "registered guest" there, not on a lease. This means that I could not apply for any of the government programs that I help my own clients to get into. I had no lease or anything. I have neuropathy so could not feel it as the rodents bit my toes while I was sleeping. One of our Pastors discovered what was going on and tried to help. Gratefully, he reached out to the group of agencies that this ministry works with to try to get me some help. At this point, through these agencies, he fully realized there was no government help available for me, because of a lack of a lease or ownership. He went to the men's ministry to formulate a plan. Thanks be to Our Father and these wonderful gentlemen, and your generosity, about 3 weeks later, We closed on this beautiful newer mobile home. It is PERFECT in every way!!!! I still have a couple minor financial issues, with the last electric bill being larger than normal and all the transfer/installation fees, but that will all work out. In closing, now that I am a documented homeowner, if the need were to arise, I could apply for LIHEAP, FEMA and other help resources that this ministry helps others precure. When hurricane Wilma passed through years ago, it took off half of the roof of my old Florida room, and because I lacked a lease, FEMA would not help. Thanks be to Our Lord and all you wonderful people, I will be able to ask for help if another disaster hits. With my whole heart, thank you all. May Our Lord be as generous and helpful to you all, as you have been to me.
