Aloha, family and friends,
First, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has donated, prayed, reached out, and supported me and my family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will help with the medical bills and funeral expenses that have come with Jackie’s passing, and I am more grateful than I can put into words.

This is not an easy message for me to write. Asking for help has never come naturally to me, but I’ve learned that sometimes you have to be willing to let the people who care about you help carry you through the difficult times.

As many of you know, my wife, Jackie, recently passed away unexpectedly. Losing her has turned my world upside down in ways that are difficult to put into words. Along with the heartbreak and grief of losing my wife, her passing has also brought unexpected financial hardship and many difficult decisions about what comes next.

One of those next steps is getting home to Hawaii.

Jackie and I had already been in the process of moving, and with her passing, there is now an urgency to get back to Hawaii. I have a shipping container in Oregon with all of our belongings that needs to make its way back to Honolulu. The cost to ship the container is approximately $4,000, and with everything that has happened, that is an expense I simply cannot manage on my own right now.

So, although asking for help doesn’t come easily for me, I’m reaching out to my family and friends.

I’m hoping that, together, we can raise the $4,000 needed to ship our belongings home and remove one more significant burden from everything I am trying to navigate following Jackie’s passing.

I’m not asking anyone to give beyond what they are comfortable with. Whether it’s $20, $50, $100, or whatever amount feels right, every contribution will make a difference and will mean more to me than you know.

And if you’re unable to contribute financially, please know that simply sharing this message, keeping me and my family in your prayers, or reaching out with a kind word is just as appreciated.

For anyone who would like to help, contributions can be sent directly through the attached Venmo account:

My goal is $4,000. Every contribution will go toward getting our shipping container from Oregon to Honolulu. If we are blessed to exceed that goal, any additional funds will go toward Jackie’s medical expenses and funeral services.

Most importantly, I want everyone to know how deeply grateful I am for the love, prayers, messages, phone calls, and support I have received since losing Jackie. There are days when I don’t know what the next step is, so I’m simply trying to take things one day and one decision at a time.

Getting myself and our belongings home to Hawaii may seem like a small thing compared with everything else that has happened, but right now, it represents something much bigger to me. It means bringing home the life Jackie and I were building together, closing one chapter, and beginning to find my way forward.

Thank you for standing beside me during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness, prayers, and support will never be forgotten.

With many blessings and aloha,
George
