Another spinal tap

Ashley called with unfortunate news… the spinal tap that was done on Rylie yesterday at the ER is growing bacteria. The infectious disease doctor said that it’s looking more like she has bacterial meningitis and not viral. They are now doing an MRI and have to do another spinal tap. Rylie is also having some other “weird” symptoms that the doctors don’t understand like she is very thirsty for water but can’t have any, her eyes are very sensitive to light. And now her bloodwork is showing signs of sepsis.
