While the world celebrates, we’ve been on a lockdown, fighting a grueling round-the-clock battle against Frankie’s upper respiratory infection to follow her doctor’s orders and keep her out of the hospital amidst all the viruses circulating. I’ll be honest: between the physical exhaustion of her treatments and the mounting fear over insurance hurdles and potential cuts to her care, I am feeling defeated, deflated, and frankly overwhelmed. I am trying my best to "let go and let God," but the weight of it all feels like too much to carry alone right now.
