What’s Going On? 💔
A Family of Four. Three Children in Crisis. One Mama Trying to Hold Everything Together.
I honestly don’t even know where to begin.
If someone had told me how much heartbreak, fear, and uncertainty my little family would endure in such a short amount of time, I don’t think I could have imagined it.
But here we are.
And today, I’m going to be vulnerable, because the reality of what we’re facing is becoming more than one person can carry alone.
My daughter, Aerris, has suffered a broken ankle. Watching my little girl experience pain, lose some of her independence, and struggle with something as simple as getting around has been heartbreaking. At an age when she should be running, playing, and enjoying her childhood, she’s instead facing the challenges of recovering from an injury.
My son, Jaxsen, has suffered two severe seizures. For any parent who has ever watched their child experience a seizure, you understand the terror that comes with those moments. The helplessness. The fear. The desperate prayers. The uncertainty of what comes next.
Jaxsen has already endured so much in his young life. Every medical emergency brings another wave of fear and another reminder of just how fragile life can be.
And then there’s my sweet Jameson.
My precious little boy was diagnosed with pneumonia and became so seriously ill that I feared I might lose him.
There are no words that can adequately describe what it feels like to look at your child and wonder whether you’re going to get to bring him home.
No mother should ever have to experience that kind of fear.
The hospital visits, the medical decisions, the sleepless nights, the constant worrying, and the desperate need to make sure every one of my babies is okay have taken an enormous toll.
And now, I have pneumonia, too.
The very person responsible for caring for all three of these children is sick herself.
But motherhood doesn’t come with sick days. There isn’t another parent here to take over when I’m exhausted, frightened, or physically struggling. There are still medications to manage, appointments to attend, meals to prepare, children to comfort, and three little lives depending on me.
And somehow, I have to keep going.
All of this is happening while I am desperately working to secure safe, stable housing for our family and navigate overwhelming financial hardship.
I wish I could tell you that I have everything figured out.
I wish I could say that I know exactly how we’re going to get through this.
But right now, I don’t.
What I do know is that my children need me, and I will never stop fighting for them.
I am exhausted in ways that sleep cannot fix. I am frightened in ways that words cannot explain. And I am carrying responsibilities that sometimes feel impossibly heavy.
But I am also a mother who loves her children beyond measure.
A mother who has sat beside hospital beds, whispered prayers through tears, and wished more than anything that she could trade places with her hurting babies.
A mother who is trying to be strong for everyone while quietly wondering when she’ll have a moment to catch her own breath.
This is why our SupportNow page, Four Hearts, One Home, means so much to us.
We aren’t simply trying to raise money for household items.
We are trying to create stability in the middle of medical emergencies, financial hardship, and circumstances that seem to change faster than I can find my footing.
We need a safe home. We need reliable transportation for medical appointments. We need help with basic necessities and the expenses that come with caring for three young children facing extraordinary challenges.
And right now, we need a little breathing room.
If you’re able to contribute to our wishlist, share our page, offer a helpful resource, or simply lift my babies up in prayer, please know that it means more than I could ever express.
I don’t expect anyone to fix our entire world.
I’m just praying that enough kindness finds its way to our family that I can finally begin putting some of the pieces back together.
Because behind every item on our wishlist are four real people.
Three little children who deserve safety, comfort, and the chance to simply be children.
And one mama who is doing everything she knows how to do to give them that life.
I don’t know what tomorrow holds.
But tonight, I’m holding on to my faith, my children, and the hope that this difficult chapter will not be the end of our story.
Four hearts. One home. One exhausted mama. And a love that refuses to give up.
Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for hearing our story. And thank you for reminding us that even in the darkest seasons, kindness and compassion still exist.
With love, gratitude, and every ounce of strength I have left,
A Mama & Her Three Little Miracles. ❤️
