We are preparing to welcome a carefully selected puppy who will be trained specifically to support Felix’s unique needs. Because of his mitochondrial condition, Felix faces challenges with balance, mobility, endurance, and safety. A service dog will provide meaningful assistance while helping him build confidence and independence. We’re starting now because early, individualized training gives us the best opportunity to develop a highly reliable partner who can grow alongside Felix. We’re working with an experienced trainer who will tailor the dog’s training to Felix and our family, including obedience, socialization, public access, and specialized tasks. The puppy will be coming home soon, and we want to begin this personalized training from day one. Your support will help make professional training possible and give Felix a service dog prepared to support him for years to come. Every contribution brings us one step closer to giving Felix this extra layer of safety, independence, and companionship.
