UPDATE 08/29

There has been some major complications today unfortunately.  The ICU team had to be alerted because Vivian became stiff as a board, high blood pressure, and completely unresponsive. They administered seizure meds which helped her become responsive but the seizures began as soon as it wore off. They took her for an emergency CT.

She is being transported back to LeBonheur, where she had her craniotomy, to undergo another surgery. The doctors will place a shunt to drain fluid building up on her brain. While we don't know exactly how long the procedure will take, it is expected to help with her recurring seizures.

They continue to stand in faith, believing God’s perfect will for Vivian’s health. Please keep praying for the peace that passes all understanding to guard Vivian, Kelly, and Garrett, and that a host of angels will comfort them during these scary, unpredictable hours ahead.
