Vivian is currently in the hands of the doctors. Holy Spirit moment—right before they said it was time to take her back into the OR, she laid her head on Kelly’s chest, looked up at her like “I trust you, mama”, then gave her the sweetest kiss. Vivian then turned to her daddy and gave him a kiss. Then just a few seconds after that precious moment, the nurses came in and said, “okay we’ll take her now.” What a sweet moment in the midst of this heartache.
Let us pray fervently and with abandon (1) that the cancer cells will disappear 😉 but then (2) that the doctors have only healing hands that will get what they need to better diagnose what’s needed for treatment and (3) that the cancer cells do not spread as they cut off a portion of the cancer.
Ultimately, we are praying for the miracle (that God still performs in this modern age) to make the cancer cells completely disappear. Faith, hope, and trust can do that. Do we truly believe God can do what He says He can do?
