Surgery Dates- October 19th and October 22nd

 A few days after I moved to Kentucky to start my new job with my promotion I went to the ER with severe back pain. 

I was informed that I was facing degenerative disc disease and potential permanent paralysis from Caude Aquina. I was in the hospital from the 15th to the 18th- while we relied on Steve’s friends and family to help us with our three cats. 

We were getting ready to start our life together after nearly a year of long distance. And very excited at the opportunity that fell into our lap.

I’ll be out of work for quite some time, recovering from surgery while dealing with medical bills and settling in a new state is proving to be challenging.  While we know this is a minor setback, it feels huge right now. 

I am so thankful and grateful for everyone’s support so far, and now a week after surgery I am working on getting around the house. 

We are in for an interesting period in our lives and we would appreciate you sharing our story.
