It’s been a minute since I’ve shared an update. I’ve been taking some time to process these last 5½ months, and I’m so grateful that I have completed chemo. 🙏🏽

There were times when waves of nausea and exhaustion would physically take over me. And emotionally, it was hard to navigate where back to back days at a time I wasn’t able to leave the house.

But slowly, I’m getting some of my energy back. I’ve been able to get back in the gym.

I’ll continue targeted therapy infusions every three weeks for the next year, and I begin radiation on Monday. Radiation will be Monday–Friday for a month, and it feels a little overwhelming knowing I’ll be going every single day.

My 40th birthday is just a few weeks away. I never imagined entering a new decade while going through cancer treatment, with an infusion and radiation scheduled the day before my birthday. But we’re here. And I continue to remind myself that it beats the alternative.

Since being diagnosed with breast cancer, I’ve been faced with some of the hardest moments that have stretched and humbled me.

In some of my worst moments when I had nothing left to offer, you still chose to stay.

Thank you for being in this fight with me. Thank you for carrying me, and for showing up for me so generously, in every possible way, making things easier as I’ve faced this. Thank you for your prayers. I know it’s because of them that I made it through. And thank you for reminding me that I’m not alone. I love you. 🫶🏽
