Blakely is doing well! She is still dealing with nausea and vomiting but is definitely feeling more herself! As long as she continues to do well we will be discharged tomorrow (Monday). We get to bring Blakely H O M E. We are so excited and grateful. π§‘
We will still be very busy with 12 meds to administer multiple times throughout the day and visiting the hospital clinic 2x a week. But to be home as a family of 4 will be incredible. π
We have also decided for multiple reasons it is best to homeschool Savannah at this time. I am so excited to be with my 2 girlies full time after a very very very long 9 months. And Savannah is so excited to be home with her sissy!
It will take some time for us to get into a new normal at home. If anyone is available to assist with meals that would be so helpful to take one thing off our plate. We do have a specific diet and I will share that info on our SupportNow where those who are able to help can sign up for a time. Meals would just be for 3, as Blakely has to follow a very specific immunocompromised diet.
Sunday night 9/15 we are thinking of doing a little drive bye parade to celebrate Blakely and all the hard things she has done! For close family and friends Iβll send out specifics soon!
We are still awaiting her Bone Marrow results, but praying for 100% mama cells.
The journey isnβt over but we are feeling so grateful to be where we are at. To get to go home. God is good. π₯Ή
