Athena has 6 or so weeks of recovery and healing to do... IVDD is a tough condition that requires ongoing support and adjustments of environment, etc., to prevent reoccurrence - even after flare-up is healed. Proper protocol of supplements and therapies (red light, cold laser, acupuncture, PEMF) are needed for continuous management. We are hoping that proper supportive protocols will prevent the need of extremely expensive surgery.
