This week we are officially wrapping up Ellie’s NAPA Intensive, and we are so excited to share how much progress she has made in just a few short weeks!
One of the most remarkable accomplishments has been watching Ellie learn to ride a scooter independently. Before coming to NAPA, this was something she struggled with, and now she confidently hops on and takes off on her own. She has also started working on riding a bicycle, which is another huge milestone for her.
Beyond the motor skills, we have seen growth in so many areas. Ellie is stronger, more coordinated, more engaged, and more confident. She is happier, more independent, and continues to try challenging things. Most importantly, she is gaining the skills she needs to keep up with her friends and participate more fully in the activities she loves.
The therapists at NAPA have been incredible. They pushed Ellie while making therapy fun and motivating. Every day they believed in her abilities and helped her reach goals we weren't sure were possible in such a short amount of time.
As parents, it has been amazing to watch Ellie rise to the challenge. We know this progress is only the beginning and we are leaving Boston with so much hope for her future.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser, sent encouragement, and supported our family throughout this journey. Because of your generosity, Ellie was given an opportunity that is already making a meaningful difference in her life.
Thank you for believing in Ellie. We can't wait to see what she accomplishes next! 💜🩷💙
