Eiley's Continued SMA Journey
Even though it’s spring break, our girl is still putting in the work 💪
Instead of outpatient therapy this week, we’ve been staying consistent at home by working through exercises from her recent DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention) intensive. These exercises are part of a routine designed to keep building strength in key areas—her upper back, core, hips, ankles, and feet.
We’ve also continued using some of the tools that have been part of her journey for a long time. She’s been using a vibration plate since she was just 1.5 years old, and it’s still such an important part of her routine. It helps activate her muscles, support bone density, and in many ways, just 10 minutes can be as effective as a much longer workout. And when she’s up for it, we add in red light therapy to support recovery and healing.
Every bit of this work matters. Staying consistent with her therapies now is helping prepare her body for the stem cell treatment coming up in August—and we’re so hopeful for what that could mean for her future.
Because of you, we are so close to a huge milestone—just $450 away from fully covering the first treatment.
Thank you for being part of her journey, for cheering her on, and for walking alongside us every step of the way 💜 Every share and gift truly brings us that much closer to our goal.
