Eiley’s CLIMB Intensive - Week 1 💪🏽

We started Eiley’s 3-week PT/OT intensive in Springhill, TN, and our girl absolutely cranked out the first week! 🤍

Our focus for this intensive is strengthening her glutes, hips, back, and core, with the goal of helping her get from the floor to standing without needing support.

We’re also continuing to work on confidence and stability while building her endurance, stamina, and speed with walking. Erin, her physical therapist, was able to hold lower than Eiley’s ankles during some of her exercises, and it was amazing to watch Eiley rise to the challenge! 💪🏼

Erin is also incorporating E-stim into her exercises. During our last intensive, we saw some major improvements in Eiley’s scoliosis, so we’re hoping and praying that the combination of this intensive and her MUSE Cells will help sustain the progress she makes this time. 🙏🏼🤍

We don’t always add OT to our intensives, but after Eiley’s MUSE Cell treatment, we really wanted to make the most of this opportunity and give her every chance to build on the progress she’s already making. With OT, we’ll be focusing on grip strength, shoulder, arm, and chest strength, as well as functional skills like dressing and undressing.

We are incredibly grateful that the Bee Brave Foundation covered most of the cost of this intensive through a grant.🥹🤍 Their support is helping us give Eiley access to the therapy she needs to keep working toward greater strength, independence, and mobility.
