Hey all, I wanted to give an update on Dominic for this week. 

Dominic had some very special visitors today; Josiah, Alexah, and Kyden got to see him for the first time. =] 

Dominic had his femur surgery yesterday; it was very good and successful. They got everything that they needed done. 

HE HAS BEEN BREATHING ON HIS OWN FOR 12 HOURS!!!

So far, he's only had one Neustrom in the last 2 days. Major improvement.

They got most of the staples out of his head today.

They have him on antibiotics for the surgery and potential a little pneumonia that may be happening. Temperature and vitals have been normal.

They did another 24-hour EEG, and it showed no seizure activity, so that's good. 

Now that his leg is finally done, they will start doing minor forms of physical therapy with him. He got to sit in a special chair for the first time today.

Thank you all for the continued support and prayers. It's going to be different going into the holidays this year. Dominic has always been very involved in all family functions and activities for the kids. He always helped me carve pumpkins with ALL the kids; that's always been Dad's thing!!
