I am so proud of how hard he’s working to gain back his strength and abilities. I caught him putting himself down today because he’s judging himself by a standard that isn’t fair. He’s exceeding all expectations. He’s walking with a walker and has started using the quad cane in therapy. The speech therapist Tom is exceptional and caring and helping him get back to himself cognitively speaking. We hope he will be coming home soon and will continue therapies at the day institute five days a week. We are doing a three way room switch and the girls will share a room for now. David is really motivated to start this next part of his journey.
