New liver!!

David is out of surgery with a new liver! I’m with him now in the ICU. The transplant team had to work extra hard to accomplish the surgery. They struggled to connect the new liver into David’s veins and had to use some unconventional methods to finish the surgery. Prayers were answered that we are on this side of surgery with him! ♥️

They are optimistic on how the new liver is looking and functioning currently. Please be praying for David as the next 24 hours are critical in his recovery. We are at the start of a long road, but so thankful to have him safely out of surgery! Thank you for all the calls, texts, and prayers... we are so grateful to see the Lord's hand so clearly in this!
