We’re grateful to share another positive update from our latest trip to Duke for Dana's clinical trial in her battle against Glioblastoma. While this visit wasn’t for an MRI review, the medical team performed their usual examinations and indicated that everything continues to look and go well.

One especially encouraging development is that she’s recently started taking medication recommended by the Duke doctors that has helped lift much of the brain fog she had been experiencing. She described it as feeling like “a curtain has been lifted,” which has been such a gift for all of us to witness.

This trip was also another reminder of how surrounded we are by love and support. Thanks to our incredible community, she was able to be driven to the airport so I could stay home with Evan. We were also fortunate to have our cousin Marissa in town to keep her company at dinner the night before, and her cousin Craig nearby in Durham to be with her during appointments.

We continue to feel deeply thankful for every warm wish, prayer, kind message, meal, ride, and act of support. The love surrounding our family continues to carry us through this journey more than words can express. Thank you all for walking alongside us.

We also wanted to share that on June 4th from 6–9 PM, we’ll be hosting a benefit dinner at Salt & Acres in Fort Lupton to help raise awareness for brain cancer, the urgent need for continued Glioblastoma research and treatment advancements, and to help support the ongoing travel expenses required for Dana’s monthly trips to Duke Cancer Institute for her life-saving care.
