Funeral cost

UPDATE — PLEASE HELP US HELP THIS FAMILY. 

The Collins family is facing something no family should ever have to face. They are grieving the loss of Jeremiah, and on top of that unimaginable pain, they are now trying to figure out how to pay for his funeral.

The funeral will cost approximately $15,000, and $14,000 must be paid before they will even allow Katie to set a funeral date for her son.

No mother who has just lost her child should have to sit and wonder how she is going to afford to bury him. She should be able to grieve. She should be able to love on her family. She should not have to worry about finding $14,000 before she can even make arrangements to lay her son to rest.

Please, if you can give anything at all, help us take this burden off of her shoulders.

And when I say anything, I truly mean anything. Even $1 matters. If 1,000 people give $1, that's $1,000 this family doesn't have to find. $5, $10, $20—it all adds up when a community comes together.
