Sorry for our delay in an update. We've been very busy preparing for our next steps in our journey.

We confirmed our dates for the treatment over Claire's summer break before she starts 2nd grade. This will separate Emily and Claire from the rest of the family for 32 days, but know the possibility of hope outweighs the sacrifice. It will be scary and challenging living in a different country, but we've done lots of research to help us prepare.

One challenge was finding an Airbnb that is close to the facility and a good fit for our lifestyle (bathtub, limited ADA accessible places, etc). We searched and messaged several hosts to find a suitable location, but found a good place located near restaurants and markets to make it easy to get around. 

This is an experience that we are excited about, but also nervous. There are so many things we have to think about to make sure this journey is smooth and we appreciate everyone's encouragement and excitement.
