Don’t stress or worry, we made it through Saturday. It was a nourishing and empowering day by all counts. There were tears and ugly cries and relief and joy and old totems and friends abounding. Thank you! Now, enough about me and my Saturday and into what you’re really here for, Christyna.
Christyna’s tears yesterday were a release. All day she was surrounded by love and flowers and chocolate. Sweet, sweet chocolate (including chocolate-covered gummi bears from Sprouts, they are something special and on sale!). This weekend is filled with a recharge of community and visitors abounding, and bounding up our flight of stairs! Thank you for everyone who is showing up- in person, by phone or FaceTime, even by text and email. This is normal for Christyna and extraordinary for me. Christyna is organized for a tsunami of love and she is saving me from drowning. We are symbiotic like that…
Yesterday was the first full shower since the last day in the hospital. You’ll be pleased to know that you are not alone in finding joy and release when urinating in the shower. I do as well… and I’m not supposed to say who else did… Rediscovering simple joys is a beautiful thing to behold. On behalf of Christyna, go rediscover a simple joy and report back so we can give it a go with you!
Everyone who has “forced” your way to contributing, thank you. Christyna is organizing and getting things (and I am one of the things) in order for further contribution. I try to do it all myself and I can’t. Everyone who comes to sit with C, run errands, cook or have something delivered, thank you. Neither of us, Christyna nor myself, would be empowered without each and every person here. Everything you do (even texting) bolsters us for the things we don’t know are coming. All y’all are brilliant!
We have become a distribution hub for Mason jars in the last day. If you have a desire for some, give us a holler. We will be your hookup (but don’t expect to get out of our home without a chocolate-covered gummi bear).

I am making a batch of kombucha today if that is of interest in the diet plan for one or both of you.
