Anyway- I’m showered, I’m dressed, my aftercare meds are waiting at my local pharmacy. All signs point to my getting to go home today. 

I have had some of the juiciest, most delightful conversations with the handful of folx who visited me here in Katy the last couple days. 

I think making time to truly just be & visit is going to be a long term side effect of getting breast cancer.

The mastectomy shirts that Stephanie gave me are perfect for holding my drains and being comfy. My superwoman mastectomy pillow that Deborah gifted me with has already been so helpful especially when I cough. 

I’m hoping for my healing (& these updates) to be perhaps a little less intense going forward.
