At breakfast with a fellow community builder this week, he shared this profound sentiment:

“I thrive where people water me.” 

Consider me drenched.

I am just this side of overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support we have received since going public with this summer’s adventure. Thank you for the notes, the data dumps, the promises for running errands, feeding us, visits (from near & far) during my recovery. 

You have given me so much to look forward to in the next two months.

Also, yesterday, my insurance approved the surgeons’ care plan for me. All systems ‘go’ for July 10.
